dragg SG extracted from ST forum. Set up temporary TV channel to show SEA Games. This will promote sports I share the same opinion as Mr Chew Mun Chong in his letter to the Forum page on November 29. Having a temporary TV channel throughout the SEA Games will make us aware of the happenings in the Singapore camp and the participants from other countries. The coverage need not be 24 hours but live coverage is important. If more Singaporeans are aware of what's happening among our sport participants, the level of interest will increase. sbst275 SG Well, when the media consolidation took place, repeating of shows became more common... Why? Because it is not making money... But of course as finanical status is getting better, that is no longer a reason
anhydrouscoppersulphate SG ya lor. now all sports squeeze into ch 5 cum lan? no live epl no la liga match no sports centre no music channel. cannot make it
SBS9828X SG Wth were they doing trying to squeeze three channels into 1??? Poor kids... and worse is tamil ppl got no stuff to watch due to Arts central... Maybe Arts central cud merge with the old sports rite?
sbst275 SG Actually, it takes time Eventually hope Kids and Arts 1 channel, Tamil 1 channel CityTV maybe can come back for Sports
sbst275 SG You have to face reality If we meet to everyone's demands then there will be no end to this Another issue, that $110 we pay for TV license not all goes into funding MediaCorp
dragg SG i dont understand why there is a cap in the rewards for winning gold. zhang ended up earning more than joscelin, our golden girl, THE ALL TIME MEDALS WINNER!!! zhang got 28k over jos's 23k. farking unfair isnt it? what motivation is there to win after the 3rd goal? it seems like 'paying capable people what they deserve' is not true afterall.
