I want to sneak in a bid at the last minute and defeat all the
other bidders.
Best is if I do it in the last 10 seconds.
been there, done there. But your last minute bid must be high
enough. If a previous bidder put a very high maximum, you could be
outbidded too even if you bid (not high enough) in the last few
seconds.
