SINGAPORE : Local movie 'Homerun' has won the People's Choice
Award 2005 at the Montreal International Children's Film
Festival.
The production, by MediaCorp's Raintree Pictures, has already won a
string of other such accolades all over the world.
Set in 1965 Singapore, the movie by local screenwriter-director
Jack Neo tells the heartwarming story of hardship seen through the
eyes of a brother and sister, who lose a pair of school shoes. -
