Lingos SG Was that when Swatch came out with the black and white watch. One was the hour hand, one was the minute. hahahaha... I remember that ad distinctly. Me wanted one set badddd... Sigh.. the days of being contented with Swatch watches.

101wish SG i love watches, collecting them as a hobby, dunno y ,jus attracted to it, i wear watches in sg but now i din wear in uk coz thick clothing cnt see..hahaha..
nove SG im surprised too how little people wear watches hmmm im highly dependant on my watch and if i step out of the house without it, i'll be in anxiety and i actually believe i'll be quite lost without my watch. physically and geographically lost. weird. its not as if my watch is a compass. in my room i have 3 clocks lol goes to show the fanatism eh? but when i went to stay in a village for a month in thailand, i was without my watch and i felt so comfortable (after a while of course). time is really judged by the sky and it could be pitch black and only 8pm but its ok... you dont feel time lost because theres so much time in the day. i think people try to maximise the things they do with this construct of "time" by looking at a watch. so we tend to cut our time into portions so we can fit activities into these portions. i guess thats why people have organizers and schedules. (well i have quite a number of those too hehe)
zodi SG I don wear a watch recently coz i admit... I misplaced it again. haha... I don't really need to wear a watch. Able to tell the time at almost any time of the day w/o any reference. Guess I will have to find my watch when I wanna look presentable at work. Btw...any psychological inference abt pple who do or don't wear watches?

DeadPoet SG Not too sure about psychological inference. But I don't wear watch because basically I don't like to have things 'hanging' around my body. To be frank, when it is necessary I do wear watch, but anything around the neck is a nightmare.
