It's cool - I evened the score well and good. She was in Germany
and I was in Melbourne, but by the time things went south, she had
sent £500 worth of books over because she had been planning to join
me in Melbourne. She used to refer to those books as her
"babies".
Anyway, she asked for the books back and I said, seeing as how I
couldn't trust her as far as I could throw her, she had to send me
the postage money first.
I got the cheque for $120, spent it all on booze and gave the books
to my friends. The ones I couldn't give away made a nice fire in my
fireplace while I was having a great party with the booze. Not a
bad score - I got booze, a warm living room and a lot of happy
friends.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned? Bah - amateurs!
