My friend is wearing this which was blessed by a Tibetan monk.
Asked me if it is ok to just cut it and throw away.
She does not want to wear it any more. I told her I
don't know but will help to find out.
Can anyone here advise ??
Merry Meet Minx,
These colorful knotted strings carry the
blessings of the Tibetan Monk or Spiritual Master to protect the
wearer, ward off negative energies and evil eye. They can last from
few days to weeks or even years and when they are worn out they
will come off or break, this indicate that it has deflected
all the negative and absorbed all the energies, and can no longer
hold any more. It has done its job. It varies from
individuals to individuals.
If
you do not want to wear it anymore, it is better to untie it rather
than cut it with scissors. Untie it with Intent and Respect by
giving thanks for the blessings and protection. You can chose to
keep it. If you do not want it anymore, the easiest way is to burn
it on the 1st or 15th of the Lunar Month, dispose the remnant ashes
under the tree, on field, greenery, into body of water like river
or sea.
There is no need to be overly concerned or
worried over this matter as these strings are meant to be blessings
from Tibetan Monk or Spiritual Master of your Religious Practice.
They are of good intents.
Hope all these answered your
concern.
Blessed
Be,
Oceanos
