AIya, expected la...today some members of the magic community
was talking about the prediction.
They were saying that it's the most embarassing and stupid magic
act ever in the history of singapore!
Talk so big then 0000! Say buy ticket and all...bullshit!
Anyway, coming back to the main thing, I saw magic hall selling
canes at 25 dollars for chinese new year promotion.
First, and most obvious, they are pirated.
Second, even pirated things they wanna over price!
My friend called me up and told me he saw it selling for 1.50 US
dollar in china. He didn't buy it, but he saw another fellow
magician having it in singapore
He asked where he bought from and apparently, the seller is
another reputed magician in singapore, Bing Xian, also known as
Jeremy Pei. He bought it from jeremy pei for a lot less than 25
dollars some time back.
What man! Even reputed magicians are doing piracy!
jc sum buying pirated props from indonesia and now jeremy pei
selling pirated stuff from china!
firstly, what jeremy pei is doing is selling props. Props have
many manufacturers and depending where the prop is made, hence the
cost price. That fellow magician of yours seem aware of where the
prop is from and hence bought it from Jeremy which is lower than
what is Hall is selling. Stuff from overseas don't just get air
dropped. They have to be shipped.
What Hall is doing, is selling you, pirated dvds and lousy
quality props at the ORIGINAL PRICE. Moving pips from Seo, I can
get at 25 bucks and of high quality. Movings pips from Hall, 30-50
(forgotten, I haven't been bothered with their pricing lately)
and is poorly made. I read magictheory13's post, I'm also one
the Buck twins' fan, bought my trilogy series at 200 for collection
purposes, turns out to be the same packaging as described by
magictheory13. I realise I wasn't the only one being scammed. There
are many people here too!
