you ever heard of a local magician call jeremy pei? He is the other boss of magic hall. Kenneth told me this a few months after they open.

I have no idea how true are those allegations but I guess apparently it's obvious that things are goin downhill for Hall. Look at how's castle going competitively at every single product they launched haha!

As the name suggested, I went to the shop and purchased some instructional DVDs. Learnt from other forums that they sell pirated DVDs later on!

Was skeptical at first, but realised the truth after doing my own investigation!

The shop is located at the concorde hotel and now another new one at plaza sing basement. Of course got money for rent lah! Cheating people's money for selling pirated stuff what!

if they sell it at normal price you don't suspect anything :P

This is true..only a handful of senior magicians knew about this. He planned to use this place to give magic lectures he actually co-owned a magic shop (now closed) at basement of Lucky Chinatown. But I have nothing against this man..I think by far he is among the best magicians in Singapore.

maybe jeremy pei is still a silent partner. of course he won't show himself now that the shop already like that. Anyway he also always sell pirated products to many magicians here in singapore. I won't be surprise he is supplying all the pirated things to kenneth since he travel to china so often.

I had wanted to bring my 12 yr old son to magic hall next week becos he recently wanted to pick up magic after watching the Taiwanese magician call Liu Qian.

Thank god I chanced upon this forum and found out about magic hall. I managed to prevent my son from experiencing a bad impression on his very first visit to a magic shop.

Thanks for stopping us from going there and worst, destroy my son's love and faith towards magic.

erm dun worry just dont go there but there is still other shop to choose .. like magic castle at shaw tower.. if u read this current thread u should know quite a number of people chose castle after they went there =D..

I had the chance to visit magic hall today since I was around the vicinity. I was really curious to what this shop is really all about. The only thing I can comment is that everything about what the forum is talking about is true.

The malay/indian staff was extremely pushy and impatient. He kept insisting that I buy a 160 dollar product that made things float, something which I showed no interest in from the beginning.

Moreover, it doesn't require a trained eye to take notice that all the dvds that were recommended to me were self produced using a dvd burner. Even the color photo copied labels were of low pixel quality.

I'm truly shocked that such businesses still exist in today's modern era of Singapore.

willsam.. u can go to castle as i said on the previous post.. u could try there.. if u went to castle please reply in this forum to tell us how u feel .. cos hall is really a scammer shop.. they sell things expensive then other place + fake stuffs
