nope.. tonghai93 u r totally wrong.. lol.. i thought it was closed too when i went to Mac and bought drink.. then when i going to Daiso i saw 1 stall near Best Denki looks familiar.. then i walk there wth ! they moved up to lvl 4 ... lols.. they also state on their website .. check this out color changing deck castle selling for 25 hall selling for 60?!

at this rate they both moving both their shops and scamming people, don't be surprised that one day you seem them selling their stuff at the traffic lights, out of the shopping centers on foldable tables and black cloth.

hall is still selling piracy up to this day. someone bought richard shanders tag, the dvd is still blue and the gimmick is made by themselves.

No doubt they think they really won't get caught and want to show us that they seem to be growing bigger by opeing another shop, that's not the case.

As long as they still do piracy, i will continue to investigate. Many in the magic forum already know about them, so they target the newbies.

becos of this forum, i hope many learnt they got cheated by hall. They continue to cheat, we continue to tell everyone about them.

i hope very soon people like lawers, judges or someone with many authority buy from them and find out they get cheated. Like that is very big case already cos the victim can file a civil suit against them and claim damages. then they also will get punished for piracy. :)

I think when the news of magic hall cheating a judge or a general from the army, the news will be so big that it will take over jack neo.

I heard from some deck collectors that even their overpriced deck they bought from magic hall feels quite weird to the touch...somehow like fake...

maybe 1 day we see on newspaper headline , magic shop selling fake stuffs. lols .. erm i heard from my friend he bought a few there deck and when open the first thing is a very thick plastic smell and the texture is not as smooth hahas..

Their decks are way overpriced. Anyway, there is another shop at shaw towers below magic castle that is selling decks also. They have a lot and the prices are quite cheap. Think it's also own by jay.

Easy, report to CASE. Since u claim there's also other buyers who bought pirated DVDs unknowingly, i believe the group of you can submit a complain to CASE

i agree, best way is to report to case. if u leave no ones starts, how in the world the relevent authorities know about this?

I'm sure there are some people here who tried doing that. Or else, most of the them who got cheated are students or children who doesn't have the kind of resources to bring this case up.

Whatever it is, I'm sure one fine day, hall's luck will run out. It's not IF, it's WHEN. It will also be HOW LONG, not HOW MUCH, in comparison to a jail term rather than a fine.

there is some news circulating among the magic community that came from a reliable source.

The authorities has been monitoring magic hall for at least a month. The officers from intellectual property branch has been sending undercover officers to purchase products from magic hall and also has been in contact with various magic community members local as well as magic production houses from USA to verify the authencity of the products.

they say this news came from very reputable members from the magic circle in singapore.

Whether or not it's true, that i'm not sure. but it's good to know that 99% of the local magicians know what hall is up to. Hope more beginners will find this forum and know the truth too.

Surprisingly, I did hear about this thing about the police already doing some undercover work in hall.

Thought it was just a passing rumour, didn't expect it to carry so much weight. I won't be surprised if this thing is 100% true.

A lot of people seem to be successful getting refunds from them, so if anyone of you got cheated by them and found this forum, please go get the refunds.

No doubt this something positive, unfortunately, the pirated dvds they collected back may be sold to another innocent buyer, maybe at a higher price.

But what if it is a group of people who spread this romour to just scare magic hall only?

For what it's worth, it should have happened long time back. But I'm pretty sure the authorities know exactly what and when to do what. :)
