i'm sure i'm not a kundalini case but just sharing my personal
experience here.
i have been experiencing so-called energetic sensations shortly
after i started my daily meditation routine many years back.
even though i have stopped my routine around two years back,
due to ill discipline and the lame excuse of family commitment, the
sensations are still "doing their thing" up until today.
the main sensations reside around the top of my head which can
be described as tingling/crawling/waves/pressing. they go on
almost 24 by 7 but i say "almost" because i have grown used to them
now and not pay much attention most of the time. but
sometimes i will take note involuntarily because these sensations
become more intense, especially when i'm chilling out and relaxing
my mind not thinking about anything. or they can cause
unpleasant migrane/headaches, especially the day after my now
once-in-a-while meditation practice.
i also experience "hearing" this high-pitched tone all the time,
similar to what you "hear" when you plug both your ears with your
fingers. sometimes i also notice the tone's pitch varies in
synchronisation with the head sensation "movements", if you know
what i mean.
then there is also this throbbing along my jaw lines but it is
not very often and i'm not sure exactly what triggers it.
i also experience "visual effects" especially in dark or dim
rooms. example, if i were to relax my mind lying on my bed
with my eyes open, my visual field will start to flicker with very
very tiny "pixels". or if i pay particular attention and
focus my sight on an object, it will slowly fade into a black patch
(but not the surrounding) and then reappear again. i'm not
sure if these are simply optical illusions but i only notice them
recently when i relax my mind before bedtime.
disclaimer - i'm not making any statements here and have zero
insights into what all these means. just for sharing purpose
only.
Hi Jamber, if i am not wrong, your symptoms are indicative of
the Qi (energy) moving up and opening your ear channels and moving
around in your head, therefore all your different signs. It could
also be a sign that there are some latent blockages and illnesses
in that area. It is not yet Kundalini. One of the signs of true
Kundalini is that the sense of a body will disappear and you will
feel bliss and clarity like AEN describes in his ejournal.
Although AEN did not practise through the kundalini path,
nevertheless he awoke true Kundalini through his insight practices.
It is much faster that way. You should combine your practice of
meditation with more emphasis on insight. You can read those
stuff as AEN posted and on his blog, they are very helpful.
Just my opinion...
