Printing of Buddhist Sutra

Peace For All SG

Hello All,

I would like to contribute to print buddhist sutra for free distribution. How should I go about doing it? Ae there sutra printing services in Singapore? Any copyright issue in printing buddhist sutra? And if I were to place these copies of sutra at the local temples, do I need to ask for the temple’s permission?

Thank you.

Peace =)

Hi, I can pm you the printing companies which specialise in printing dharma books. There are fewer and fewer temples which allow us to put copies there for distributions. Reason being there's a "flooding" of dharma books. It is better to check with the persons in charge of the temples whether do they allow you to put the books at their place for free distributions. My shifu discourages us to print dharma books because too many out there. Instead, he encourages us to donate to the temples and charity organisation or you are very sure that there are people who need the books that you are going to print.

Some printing companies need at least 1K copies. However, they will help you to combine with other customers who are printing the same books as you. If not, I know a company which MOQ is only 200 or 300 books.

佛音 Internal Printers - 64548608 (they will help you to combine or top up if you print less than 1000 copies).

90556055 - This uncle accepts MOQ of 200 or 300 books.

Yes. You can give them a sample of the book that you wish to print and how you wish to print it.

for me if i want to print, prefer to tag along buddhist centre and temple to print. Many collect funds and print certain books frequently.

For one thing, this to ensure the correct translationis being printed
