What is a troll?I am sincere.
Hi Steak, no offense because there are alway people come here
for attention lol!
anyway... back to your thread... maybe you can read about
the 4 Noble Truths first, and think about it. Does it relate
to you in your everyday life?
When I first stepped into fo tang, i was also blur like sotong
haha... I don't even know how to prostrate before Buddha. I was
just monkey-see-monkey-do haha...
It took me abit of courage to step in and explore... because I
was alone, and all the people there are strangers to me... of
course I was wary and cautious too. But at the same time, I need to
know what they do... you need to have abit of courage to speak and
ask around.. I'm sure there will be helpful people around to guide
you in fo tangs.
then come to chanting of sutras, I don't even know what was
i reading... but I just keep going... slowly I understood its
meaning bit by bit. You need some patience and diligence to reap
the benefits. There's no shortcut in learning Buddhism.
Hope you have a nice learning journey ahead :)
