Quoted from Car-Parazzi.com
"This forum section has been quite dead so rather than leaving it
like that I would like to talk about Singapore. By far there is no
proper member from Singapore on this site, but I often go there for
holidays and would like to talk about experiences and stuff
there.
Singapore is a very tiny country with no capital city, it is just
like a small island, but filled with business districts. Rich men
in Malaysia, who can not stand the terrible road conditions,
reckless motorcycles, traffic offenders and corrupt cops, go to
Singapore to chill and have a break.
And of course, there are lots of rich men in Singapore as well,
driving fancy cars. On occasions, you can even find exotics with
plates from Thailand as well. Singapore is walking distance from
the South Malaysia. It's just connected by a short bridge.
Singapore's law is very strict, particularly laws related to
automobiles.
Highway speed limits are only 110km/h, road limits are only 80km/h.
Seatbelts, signal use, are all under watchful eyes by the police,
who usually are in completely random unmarked vehicles.
So anyway, here is a preview of what you can see there.
On my first trip there (7th July '07 ~ 10th July '07), I saw:
3/4 Lamborghini Murcielago
5 Lamborghini Gallardo
10 Aston Martins
1 Ferrari 612
7/8 Ferrari 360
5 Porsche 997T
Second trip (lasted THREE DAYS ONLY) I saw:
1 Pagani Zonda F (CF)
1 Versace LP640, white
2 Superleggeras, (1 orange with spoiler, 1 grey without
spoiler)
2 Lamborghini LP640
5 Lamborghini Murcielago
15~20 Lamborghini Gallardo Coupes (no SE's sighted)
10 BFS
3 Arnage
1 997 GT3
1 997 GT3 RS
3 997 T
3 360 Sp'dr
1 360 Modena
2 360 CS (1 yellow no stripes, 1 black no stripes)
2 F430 (
2 F430 Sp'dr (1 black, 1 red with chrome 20")
2 599 GTB
2 DB9 (1 rare METALLIC RED DB9)
1 V8 Vantage (my first; funny how I seen Superleggeras much earlier
than some of you)
3 Elise (or maybe 4)
1 Esprit
2 Continental GT
Impressive, no? All those great exotics from Singapore and Malaysia
combine together in a beautiful organized place, isn't it just
heaven?
Singapore is the second best place after Ginza District of Tokyo,
Japan."
