aiya...it is always easy to spot the mistakes of the guys who
cover their face and cut grass on slopes with grass cutter under
the hot sun. They should put to test if readers really
find if it is indeed "delightful bouquet of sarcasm, humour and
insolent honesty" by putting the book in print to see how
many people buy, or they still prefer Lats. Also we will know
how many are virgin explorers are there.
I might buy one if it is not too expensive, just to show my
foreign friends that there is freedom of speech in
singapore.
Freedom of speech and constructive challenge is good, but I think
it should be done in a way that doesn't blatently disregard
your roots.
Haven't read anything more of the group/book, but I'm just
hoping that its simply a sales/attention drive rather than a
genuine belief that direct opposition against current standings is
a good way to go.
For what it is however, it does sound interesting - to see how
the writers share their line of thought and if nothing else, make
readers think about an 'alternative'. Again, I hope they do
well.
