The title of the article is a bit
misleading. However, the sub-title is
actual theme of the article. In
essence, it means paying attention to what the Buddha actually said
or taught rather than what the disciples, sangha, lay scholars,
scholar-monks, and all sort of commentators said or
wrote.
There is one point I find it a paradox: did
the Buddha actually use the term ‘sutta’ during his
life-time?
