Practice pure view by visualizing that Rinpoche and the lamas
are not different from Vajrakilaya. Visualize also that the place
is the palace of Vajrakilaya and all the people around you are the
manifestation of Vajrakilaya. Recite the Vajrakilaya mantra as much
as possible throughout the ceremony. During the torma throwing
ceremony, think that all obstacles of oneself and others, including
your enemies, are thrown into the fire and burned away. Think that
all the bad things, illnesses, unfavourable conditions, poverty,
mishaps, business problems and all kinds of difficulties and
obstacles of the forthcoming year are burned away. Think that
all bad karma created in the past but not ripened are burned
away as well. .For practitioners of tantra, think that your
degenerated or broken samayas are purified and restored. After the
torma is burnt, think that places of practice are protected by a
vajra net and will not be disturbed by any unfavourable
conditions.
