Are all Buddha's in the past and future, an Indian?

were all past Buddha'sa and future Buddha's, all originated and came from India?

because past Buddha's name were Kassapa and Dipankara, but Amitabha Buddha doesnt sound like Indian name.

As for other past buddhas I have no knowledge on.

I only know maitreya is the future buddha.

Buddhism is meant for all....even if u fly back in time and ask the prince...he will tell u that it encompasses all who are keen to detach from sufferings....perhaps he may even ask u not to waste time to pursue such matters...focus on saving yourself and others he urged....

i doubt that all the buddhas are indians in origins, though it may began with india....

the nature of the buddha is not and should not be described in nationalistic or racial terms

No. The notion that all Buddhas originate from India is a misunderstanding of the term 'Jambudvipa'.

In Buddhist cosmology, all Buddhas in our galaxy or universe appears in Jambudvipa. What is Jambudvipa? It means the southern continent. Some people think that this refers to India, it is wrong. Jambudvipa is the homeland of our mankind, our species. It is referring to our entire planet earth itself.

In other words, in the southern part of this galaxy, there is planet earth. There is other planets with beings like us, in the northern, western, and eastern parts of the galaxy. However, Buddhas will always appear in our planet Earth.

Amitabha is an Indian name, however Amitabha is from another universe and is not Indian.

India here referring to extremely ascetic practitioner that could not liberate from the cycle of rebirth, because of lack of understanding. In view of the "yuan" on the dire need to be liberated, and that there is no enlightened being at that period, would appear based on its vow and the yuan with this practitioner, to liberate him by revealing the four noble truth :)

The names of the countries will change with time... i'm sure it will not be the word "India" in the future... countries will form and cease with time, territorial lines will change also...

But the Vajra Throne (Bodhgaya) will be where all the Buddhas attain full enlightenment, so i suppose it is likely that Buddhas come from that surrounding area...

just my thinking...
