That spark to search for truth is Buddha Nature right there
This life is a long dream. Not recognizing that we're dreaming,
there's no way to imagine waking from that dream
View is like the eyes: you can see ultimate truth in the
distance. Path is like the feet: you can walk to the
destination
Sometimes the most effective method isn't the most comfortable
one
Hatred is much more harmful to yourself than to any other
person
When you are genuinely open, what happens? There's a sense of
space and invitation, of really connecting with something beyond
yourself
There’s a direct connection between selflessness and compassion:
as one becomes more powerful, the other strengthens
We can have a vague idea about being 'free' but until we have a
clear vision, determination & confidence, nothing really
begins
When we get to the future that we were preparing for, it leads
to yet another future. We never reap the fruits of our own constant
obsessive preparation
There’s intellectual dharma…and then there’s the dharma that’s
alive in the everyday movement of our thoughts & emotions
