This year, Vesak Day falls on 27 May Thursday and 28 May
Friday according to the Tibetan and Singapore calendars
respectively. Vesak Day commemorates the Birth, Enlightenment and
Mahaparinirvana of Lord Shakyamuni Buddha. Since the
Mahaparinirvana of Lord Buddha more than 2500 years ago, His
teachings are still relevant even in this modern era and continue
to benefit many of us. Our centre has specially organized a series
of program on these two days. It is said that all virtuous actions
performed on the auspicious Vesak day will be multiplied many
times. So let us come together to devote ourselves in spiritual
practice, observe precepts, be mindful of our body, speech and mind
and dedicate the merits for the happiness of all sentient beings.

根据藏历卫塞节是落在五月廿七日星期四而新加坡日历则是在五月廿八日星期五。卫塞节是记念释迦牟尼佛的诞生,成道和般涅槃之日。虽然佛陀大约在2500年前示现般涅槃,
但是他的教悔至今仍然继续不断的造福和利益当今时代的人类。我们的中心特别在这天举办了一系列的卫塞节法会。根据典记载:
在吉祥的卫塞节当天,所造的善业功德将会增加很多倍。因此,让我们致力于为所有众生的福泽与利益,
