All temples are protected by the Dharma Protectors, eg. Four Heavenly Kings. The entity should'nt follow her into the temple!

You can get you friend to chant Atanatiya Sutra to get protection of the Four Heavenly Kings and their retinue. Or the Great Compassion Mantra"Ta Bei Zhoe", "Gate, Gate, Paragate ,Mantra of Heart Sutra" Parasamgate Bodhi Svaha "

she was given a small book on sutra and when she called temple on phone for help, the lady told her to chant sutra from the small book.

oh my goodness. she is not well versed and has no idea what she is chanting, not to mention the correct way of chanting. no wonder the spirit is angry, as it may think she is scolding it some vulgar language lol.

how did your friend got spirit following her? did she go anywhere in particular on that day the spirit was following her? how long is it already?

went for consultation in temple and confirmed the spirit following her. that temple can help but asking for more than $1000 to help her.

my friend no go church. I was a church goer, I can say that god can only cast out demons, spirits from the bodies and not deal with spirit folllowing the human beings

maybe the spirit wants your friend to help fulfil his/her wishes. is it male or female spirit? does it revealed his/her form to your friend already? what does the spirit wants from your friend?

she said she was told is about her past life. the spirit claimed to be her past life husband.

That person needs to find a good and wise master who can solve this.

Probably need to dedicate merits to the spirit and explain to the spirit to let go of the past and take a virtuous rebirth.

during consultation, she more or less confirmed seen the ghost. What is puzzling is the ghost she saw was in modern day clothing but the spirit claim that more than 300 yrs ago he was her hushand. So strange

She has been going to many for help but not successful. I also don't know what to do to help
