Does the Buddha forsaw the split into Theravada and Mahayana and then later Vajirayana and many other Buddhist traditions?

But first, did he predict the split into Theravada and Mahayana tradition first?

For me I have this principle. As long as it is uttered by the Buddha, I follow, no differentiation for me between theravada and mahayana. If you want to attain salvation and liberate yourself, there is no fault in it. If you want to be a buddha and save all beings, I respect and admire you for your aspiration.

Yes, the truth of impermanence, suffering, no-self, applies whether or not we notice or realise it. It is known as the 'dharma seal' or the 'seal of all phenomenon'. The truth of Emptiness, likewise.
