Anyone taking refuge on vesak day at jen chen buddhism
centre ,
I will do the buddha bathing at morning then refuge in
afternoon.
I wonder how they pick dharma name and how the certificate look
like.
We should be sincere at the ceremony right .

the meaning all these.
Your dharma name is based on your lineage aspiration name
the renounced community have their record of lineage name
But in Pureland Buddhism ,all who taken 3fold refuge are given
Miaoyin as dharma name
as in the Larger Amitabha Sutra , Miaoyin is the name of
practitioner in the Western Paradise and one of the name of a
Perfected One
