There will ba a Refuge & 5 Precepts Ceremony in Amitabha
Buddhist Centre on 18th Jan ( Sun ) 7.30pm. Call to check if
registration is required. The master will be Lama Zopa
Rinpoche.
You have the option of taking all 5 or some selected precepts
which you desired , based on what you feel you can observe in your
daily lives. On a more "technical" side , the karma would be
heavier for those who have gone through such or other number
of precepts. However , there are also ways to
"regenerate" the vows.
Do a little research on any master before going such ceremony.
The master who hold the precept ceremony for you will be your
lifelong teacher if i am not wrong.
