I'm new here too. Anyway, here's my view. There's no sutra
denouncing the wrongdoing of homosexuality, but again, having
sexual desire is not encouraged in the first place, be it with a
man or woman. Different teachers has voiced out differently
for or against homosexuality, maybe due to the values they were
exposed to during their cultivation years. But you are right
that we should always generate loving kindness to all, whether or
not they are straight, gay, lesbian. In fact, this loving
kindness should extend to all sentient beings of the six
realms.
