I work in the Govn body before..can share abit on this thread
you posted..
Inregards to cat you posted...
Cats are not allowed to keep home bound..but ....the govn bodies
open and close an eye...
There are many resident, who keep cats, and they didnt actually
well keep the cats, they allow the cats to roam about the
neighbourhood estate..they anyhow urine, any how shit..this is a
hygen problem...so not totally the govn fault, the owner must
really consider about other people living in the estate...
There are some resident who are very compassionate, they bring
left over food and feed the stray cats....and after leaving the
food they just walk off...again who is going to clean up all the
food....one cat see this lady, the next day, you will see more cat
friends coming to join the meal....again..consideration..compassion
could be practise in a tactful way...
Keeping cats is fine, but one has to watch the cat..not let the
cat out of the boundary and cause problems for others...I ever saw
a resident kept 9 cats at home..the 9 cats all roam about the
neighbourhood..when meal time all will go back to the unit..and
passing by that unit you would have a strong aroma of cats...
