According to sources: http://www.lioncity.net/buddhism/index.php?showtopic=62019 and others

It's up to you to believe lah... I'm just restating what's been said.

we lost one more great master...
I was hoping to see him and talk to him face to face next year one.
May he come back to our samsara for the sake of sentient beings.

Om mani padme hum.

I seriously think Durawang rinpoche is a highly incarnated bodhisattva. From his appearence one could see he is calm and serene, full of peace and very righteous. In this age, it is really hard to see someone like this. I consider him the very incarnation of guan yin pu sa. May this non-returner enjoy parninirvana!

emm...i think buddha/bodhisattva don't "enjoy" parninirvana. they would rather "enjoy" returning to deliver sentient beings. Wink

Durawang Ricpoche gave me a very deep impression.

Let me put it this way, I believe talking to an enlightened master like him will help me in my practice.
Likewise, attending a dharma talk or even discussing dharma on forum, skype also help in a way.

bohiruci SG

Excellent ,throught Buddhist lineage several monks have

emanate impermanence in the same way , attending the last teaching of their life

Excellent example of Buddha Sakyamuni attainment

like Ven master Tai Hsu Passed away halfway through a Dharma talk

Ven Ying guang ,passed away standing up when going thru Buddha recitation ceremony with believers

Now Norbu Drudwang Rinpoche ,passed away when reaching singapore for teaching

bohiruci SG

For everyone info

Buddha Sakyamuni also preached on the Maha Parinirvana Sutra

before his Deathbed under the sala tree at age of 80 outside Bodhgaya

doesnt really have to go there to learn the teachings . His website is full of it

one dun need to travel far , but watch ones mind is enough
only fools travel far to hear teachings and realise nothing
when there is still an "I"

coolbluewater SG

eh... it's only a dharma discussion, not receiving teachings.

I thought you've always encourage active discussion discussion over skype?

Anyway, I'm just posting this event to benefit whoever is interested in discussing his teaching with seniors of the centre. Unlike you, i'm not realised, nor enlightened, and have not eradicate my "I", so I can't contribute much here to benefit the rest of the forumners. This is the only way I can contribute, unless you view my action otherwise.

Very Happy
