"...In the beginning when sentient beings started to transmigrate in the Six Realms, they were in the realm of Heaven. Then, they descended to the Human realm. Human beings have seven types of emotion and six types of lust and because of these they continually commit negative karma. These led them to descend to the realm of Asura. Why is the realm of Asura considered to be a good realm? It is because even heavenly beings can be inflicted by ignorance, causing them to fight among themselves. The more aggressive fighters eventually descend to the realm of Asura...."

someone mentioned this idea that suicide will deepen one's reliance in the 'i' due to the intense craving for the object the victim was fixated upon believing death was the only way.. Sad

that one hard to turn back to the shore i suppose, at least for awhile.

Death ends all your life problems in the shortest way, so long as you don't believe in karma as a condition of living. Mr. Green

Even if you don't believe in karma, karma still exists for you.

truth exists even if u dun believe in it .

if u believe sun revolves around earth which is false .

truth need not be believed in order to be true .

even if most ppl in this world dun believe in karma , it still exists .

It seems like forumers here think they know a lot about suicides. I don't. To me suicide is sad but unless we know the circumstances, the driving force, the push factors - don't make it sound like we can pass judgment. Worst still to talk about karma and rebirth concerning those who committed suicide.

Suggest you say a prayer or you research deeper on this subject.

but according to buddhism , ppl who commited suicide is bound to suffer from the seeds they planted .

this is a buddhism forum .

I know it takes a lot to drive one to commiting suicide .

lets say if tommorow I am found to have a terminal illness , who knows I might attempt it .

then i will just take what I reaped .

prayer only lessen their sufferings .

An Eternal Now SG

Yes. As Buddhists we should not judge people but should advise people to take karmic consequences into considerations because they are very real.
