Therefore the river, the river that is in your mind, the river that you see, the river that you remember, the river that you are staring at... does not exist. Laughing

You are looking at a "new" river every moment....

So the question is, when the conditions exist, does the river exists? Yes, but "not inherently", and conditionally; it exists "not inherently" and exists conditionally.

You exist "not inherently" and you exist conditionally as well.

What that means is that you do not exist as an intrinsic, whole, individual entity. You are part of everything else but your brain fools you into thinking that you exist in and by yourself. Your brain fools you into thinking that if everything else does not exist, you will continue to exist. That is a delusion.

You are a part of eveything else and everything is a part of everything else.

Your ignorance in answering my question wrongly is due to the fact that at the moment the deceased passed away and me are not connected in any way, physically or otherwise and not due to conditioning or conditioned arising. Hence it is logically proven we are not linked in any nature.

Conditioned arising only happens, as the term suggests, when there is the conditions for it to arise.

Update: when there is cause and conditions, whether 10 metres or 10 billion light years apart, conditioned arising WILL happen, there is no where and no who. When conditions are NOT there, they will not arise even if you try to force it.

'We have broken speed of light'

A pair of German physicists claim to have broken the speed of light - an achievement that would undermine our entire understanding of space and time.

According to Einstein's special theory of relativity, it would require an infinite amount of energy to propel an object at more than 186,000 miles per second.

However, Dr Gunter Nimtz and Dr Alfons Stahlhofen, of the University of Koblenz, say they may have breached a key tenet of that theory.

The pair say they have conducted an experiment in which microwave photons - energetic packets of light - travelled "instantaneously" between a pair of prisms that had been moved up to 3ft apart.

Being able to travel faster than the speed of light would lead to a wide variety of bizarre consequences.

For instance, an astronaut moving faster than it would theoretically arrive at a destination before leaving.

The scientists were investigating a phenomenon called quantum tunnelling, which allows sub-atomic particles to break apparently unbreakable laws.

Dr Nimtz told New Scientist magazine: "For the time being, this is the only violation of special relativity that I know of."

So if there are no conditions to arise from, I can't understand you? I highly doubt so. If I can't feel what you feel, then I am wrong? Even if you wait for billions of kalpa, conditions will not arise because there are no conditions for the conditions to arise from.

Why no more faith? How come existence comes into being here?
The human mind has the propensity to dwell into the cosmic, the abstract, the metaphysical and the netherworld.
Why can't we be more down to Earth? The argument on existence can be simplified. If not there is no end. Just like the question on existence of God.
Quite frankly, I don't care if a river existed before, existing now, non-existing, existing from moment to moment, ...... After all, nobody ever goes to war over a non-existing river! But a non-existing God?
