Just one question

lugal SG

I have one question. Could you tell me a bit about FWBO in Singapore? I know about all the controversies however I have noticed that FWBO is tolerated among European buddhists organisations. From the other hand I have noticed it is banned on your forum. Is it recognized as a cult in Singapore? Could you share some links with me about how they are perceived by Singaporean organizations.
Is FWBO tolerated by Singaporean authorities?
Thank you in advance Smile

There is FWBO in Singapore?? Shocked

Personally I don't know as I've never been there... but there is indeed many controversies (see http://www.fwbo-files.com/. I would suggest that you find a teacher.. someone from a pure lineage... who you are confident is highly enlightened and can lead you well on your path.

Singapore probably tolerates FWBO, because Singapore is a secular society. Even Falungong is legal here.. or other unorthodox cults like 'True Buddha School' and so on.

Fren of the Western Buddhist Order is not banned

I will discuss with AEN on the Issue of FWBO becos of the leader is sangharaskita ... i do not wish to dwell on this until i found evidence the FWBO is not following the authentic Buddhist teaching

for now ,its status quo
