Is the Bai Yun Palace, in chinese means Hundred Cloud
Palace?
If so, to the best of my knowledge, Bai Yun Palace is neither De
Jiao nor Taoist related, it is a society of its own.
As for De Jiao, refering to here http://www.thkms.org.sg/Aboutus.htm
it seems that they are what they named - more on the moral side,
rather than on any profound philosophy. Given respect to that, I
don't see that they are in anyway related to Taoism (which you'd
bracketed above), in either the philosophy or the mystical
way.
I know that Singapore Taoist Mission is headed by Li Zhiwang
Dao-zhang which you can take a look at http://www.taoism.org.sg/. And
there is a Singapore Taoist Federation that is at San Qing Gong and
operated by Lorong Koo Chye Sheng Hong Temple Association which you
can refer here http://www.shtemple.org.sg/cheng%20huang%20xin%20yang%20eng.htm
Maybe I too long no come out walk-walk, could you kindly
enlightened me where is the Singapore Taoist
Association as you had mentioned above?
Bai Yun does have buddhist chanting but it seems like its rituals
have some difference with the conventional ones, this have to be
further verified.
And how do you know it's 94 percent taoist? Not say 98 percent? Or
in the first place it's not taoist-related?
