An Eternal Now SG Oh I see... ya I agree one shld be cautious about it... and anyway just a note to everyone here.. recalling past life (and in fact gaining any sort of powers) isnt the proper motivation/intent for spirituality. These things are secondary.
justdoit77 SG longchen, You have personally seen past lives, you are also interested in buddhism and believe what buddha taught, why haven't become a buddhist yet? Is staying in life cycle not miserable enough. regards, justdoit77
longchen SG Hehe... I shouldn't be saying this on a Buddhist forum...but... Liberation is non-sectarian... it is not dependant upon whether one is a Buddhist or not. Being a Buddhist is just another label and concept. Yes, you are right, the reincarnation/rebirth cycle is really full of suffering and unsatisfactoriness. It is clearly more so... if one have seen across lifetimes. Every single one of us is looking for happiness... it is 'embedded' within Universal Mind. It is just that the way most of us are doing it is not very effective. We think that we can get what we want in the rebirths. regards
TWE SG What does it mean when i seem to be able to remember more and more of my present life esp from being a baby till my present time . Usually pple tends to forget the memories of their childhood when they grow up but for me is like i seem to be able to remember more and more of it . Sometime even to the extent of able to even remember whatever things that a person told me abt at that particular time . It is funny because i am generally a very forgetfull person who can forget things that i hear now only to forget abt it just 5 minute later .
bohiruci SG Perhaps its time for me to say this Remembering past lives isnt a happy process You remember how u died the last time who killed you , your past family who u left behind and their ending your past friend u have left behind your career and possession now tell me ? wat kiind of happiness are there in remembering past lives ?
