I see a monk being invited to watch the medium. And I don't see
anything wrong with watching it.
Similarly there is no restrictions of a Buddhist on anywhere they
can go - they can go to church, to taoist temples, to mosques, to
hindu temples, anywhere. As long as they do not participate in
anything superstitious that is alright. Buddhists do not worship
other worldly gods and deities. But we can enjoy watching their
culture, rituals and visiting their places of worship as a form of
appreciating art.
