All wanton mee sold in singapore consists of 3 elements:
1) mee
2) char siew
3) wanton
No wanton mee stall in singapore can ever get the 3 elements
right. Its always 2 right, and 1 wrong, or 1 right, and 2
wrong.
Fei fei for example, they got the mee and wanton right, but the
char siew yucks. Yi jia shu shi one, they got the mee and wanton
right, but again the char siew for decoration. Then another one at
a secret place I cannot tell you, the mee and wanton is wrong, but
the char siew is fantastic.
By the way, the lady chef at mama pasta kovan 209 is a hot babe,
and always overdoses on the garlic to all the dishes. I always tell
her to cut it, coz i can still taste it in next day's lunch.
mee and wanton wrong, but char siew fantastic?
Sounds like tiong bahru market to me...
