You are a filial daughter.
One way is to learn from ksitigharba bodhisatva. One of his
previous life, he want to save his mother who trancended into hell.
He then make a vow to save all beings in hell before attaining
buddhahood.
Because of this merit that he share with his mother, his mother
then born into heaven.
In short, self practise and encourage other people to practise by
preaching to them, this is what a bodhisatva does. ok, hope to see
