indeed. as the analogy goes, if u need to dig for water, dig on
one particular spot all the way. this way, it will be faster to
find the water, rather than to go around wasting time digging too
many spots.
this is also to say, everywhere there's water, just up to u to
find.
also we often say, jie(discipline) lead to ting(concentration),
lead to hui(wisdom). Focus on One IS the practicing of jie.
some schools concentrate on different opposite idea, so can be
confusing to mix them. like some concentrate and use suffering,
some use emptiness, some use infinity/existence, some use middle
way, some use impermenence, some use delusion.
eventually, all and all it's but to cure our attachment to the
samsaric desire.
