Greetin to all,

well there seem to be some issue ongoing lately.In Buddhism questioning and debating r encourage for learning with understanding.I thinks even in other aspect,this qualities r beneficial.the dharma lesson is interesting but i think the most interesting part is the Q&A time Cool

Everyone here by now shld more or less noe CASINO's style.Well as for me...i too question and pointing out doubts in my process on learning buddhism.And for u info my questions r more "in-depth" , 'soild' and 'sharp' than our mr.casino(sorri pal just trying to make an example here Cool )So does tat make me or casino anti - buddhist.

Well i think most of us hav noticed that often some sensitive pple get offended and feel threatened when others start questioning the contradictions and difficult to accept parts on their claims.Rather looking at a neg side why not look at the positive side.?Why label this pple as anti-'something' or feel tat they'r 'attacking' their religion rather than thinking tat they hav doubts and r trying to clear it.Jus becos my reply prove the contradiction of someone's claims i was accused as anti-christ?Do u praise or condem a science student who is willing and abt to point out doubts and contradiction points during his learning.A student who point out doubts and contradiction points during his lesson doesn't make him a trouble maker or anti-science

I think tat is fair when they claim, as many do with such insistence, that their religion alone is true, then they must be prepared to answer doubts which others might express about their religion

If a saleman can't stand and feel offended when customers having doubts on his product then don make claims on his product and try to sell to the customer in the 1st place.If tis saleman claim tat his product is wonderful then he must be prepared to answer doubts which customers might express about his product.

I have had a chance to read that Chit Chat God thread in greater detail.... and I must say that that our friend was whacked left & right by the athiests there. Problem is: the atheists there do not 'bash', for that could be easily ignored. Instead, the athiests made a persistent and pointed series of questions directed at the theists, and they are as unrelenting as their arguments are cogent.

And the athiests pulled no punches either.

Our friend is inevitaby pushed to a corner, his replies getting increasingly repetitive and incoherent..... his frustration evident. In my opinion, you may have inevitably become the outlet for him to vent...

I stand by you, but having said that, I would advise that we cut him some slack at the moment. Lets just stay silent and let him cool down.

Actually in the west more ' 'fierce' often some athiests oso use some buddhism logic and reasoning to better support the issue the theists oso being pushed to a corner.every pt they make will show more contradiction and tis end up turning against them.

Shame on u for joining them, and at the same time propagate buddhism in the thread.

Why compare with CK? He is mad, but u are anti-Christian...tat's two different things...

Part in red shows that u are just like the atheists. U jump at the chance to attack Christians. U dig as if u found treasure.

Actually, I dun think any christian was preaching in that page. And further more, Christians dun convert, they only preach. U do not know reformed theology. U do not believe in the sovereignty of God.

To u, all Christians are ang moh pai and living under colonial mentality. U put that in one of ur posts which I have pasted. I think all ur trips to church for bible study never go into ur head, or u just go there for fun one? If your Christian frens know what u post here, they will know how hypocritical u r.
