Forgive me for not able to understand in greater detail of what you are seeking.

A true repentence from MCK vcd:

1. Realise that a mistake was made.
2. Apologise and admit the mistakes in front of the public.
3. Never to do it again for even in Thoughts, Speech and Actions here after.

In addition, to forgive yourself and move on.

do some good deeds to balance back?

but to the person whom you perform bad karma, you have to apologise and repent, else that part of the bad karma is not repairable? Rolling Eyes

really depends on the cause, and if you repent sincerely, maybe won't happen.
