Thank you trueheart.The ikan pasir pasir does have a bone structure that is similar to the eel which is why it is best eaten deep-fried but looking at the drawing of the 'Sand Lance' I wonder if it is the same fish that we are talking about.

I just realise that the fish in the picture is one of the many types of sandeel, after right clicking the picture and taking a look at the "properties" section. They happen to be part of the sandlance family.

My kids regrets like mad as they had torn up plenty of the photos when they were young. Besides I seldom take photos.

By the way speaking of places of worship,I believe a lot of these places started as small shrines and you could find them at almost any places or out of nowhere.The ones surviving must have help a lot of people kena 4-D either that or are pro -PAP>LOL. Indian temples started with small huts and leafed rooves today so grand and colorful.Churches,temples ,mosques were all so humble looking then.Now no money no guarantee of heaven>hahaha

Hahaha.Ok you remember where the highest and lowest temple in Singapore was? I was there when they demolished of them.
