remebers the days when star wars action figures were on sale at
$2.50 each.....and KFC original spice tasted so good.the kfc
original taste funny.....i thought that was me but i found kfc in
oz tastes like original kfc in spore long time ago.
remmbers they sold replica toy guns everywhere.....neverbought
much cuz they were just too expensive.remembers katong had meatball
stall......laksa stalls....nasi bheriyani stall...and at corner of
katong strip is the chicken rice stall......next to petrol
station.and then further down which is siglap joo chiat is the pig
tail noodle shop n big prawn noodle shops along with those old car
shops...further down would be the old area where joo chiat
market used to be...it stinks hell high in tose days....and
everywhere is surrounded by peoples houses....and a 7-11 oulet next
to bus stop.....then further down would be lemon grass retaurant
which has KFC oulet near it and pizza hut and some indonesian
restaurant or something,...then next to it would be the rather
untidy looking stationary shop which looks like its
cluttered with so many stationary and plywood walls.but i liked
their range of airfix toys.....then next to it would be some old
small cinema which is empty most of the time.theres the
coffeshop and next to it.a hardware shop with so much hardware on
display....24 hrs indian shop across the street.walking even
further down theres te shell petrol station...n some distance would
be a indian barber shop,,,,,and across street would be a post
office.even further down road theres some places with churches
across siglap secondary school goin to lucky heights area.goin down
more would then be kheng luck seafood restaurants, palm
beach, seafood steamboat restaurants and then theres the country
club which was on top of a hill.furtther down, there used to be some
rubber amalgated factory which was shut down a long time ago..d it
used to have ..a ww2 pillbox near it.then down next to it is a
large chinese temple next to a muslim cemetery..and when u go up
hill with the vast cemeteries ....it was muslim ...but on top it
was a vast stretch of land and u could see so many unspeakable
things there,,,damn scary..across it is a vast stretch of overgrown
land that the nearby army camp uses for
training.............yes.....those were the days.
