National Service abolished if PAP lose the election?

Fist of Glory SG

My friends told me that I would not have to attend my National Service if PAP lose the upcoming election.

How true is this?

the Bear SG

are you that dumb or does it actually take effort to appear that dumb?

FBFIce SG

good idea

Fist of Glory SG

By the way, I'm not allowed to lose my citizenship without completing National Service?

no.. but they'll throw you in DB if you do not want to serve..

also, if you're not in the country, you'll be put on a list as a deserter and arrested by the MPs when you return

I believe if you have citizenship of another country you can leave during the years when you would otherwise be doing national service without any consequences. Anyway that is what I will be doing when the time comes.

Fist of Glory SG

I do have dual citizenship but according to what I found on the net,it is still compulsary for me to do my national service after my GCE 'A' level/Poly diploma education or their equivalent.

I guess I'll just have to finish my NS then emigrate.

From what I know the government in Singapore is quite homophobic, in other countries I am not sure if this is true in Singapore you do not have to join nation service if you are gay because it is considered a mental disorder. I am not sure if this will work for you though.

sbst275 SG

you think it's easy to be done?

Fist of Glory SG

I guess turning into gay wouldn't be such a bad idea anymore.

sbst275 SG

dun go and do funny things tat will affect your future working life

FBFIce SG

u will still get yr ass hole torpedo even u turned gay in the army

Martin schady SG

Yea bro honestly take it in the but now and you wont have to take it in the but in the navy.

Its like you have to be gay to not be gay bro.

FireIce SG

if tt relli happen, u wun have time to enjoy no-NS life bcos we would all be dead by then when others come and bomb us.

how nice.

Shorter ninja SG

Ask your friend properly because I think he also said he would do NS for you and then after that he would also gladly do reservist training for you.

Then all the mindef regulars, sign ons, and regular staff will all lose their jobs because there is totally no need for you kids anymore.

Singapore can then devote all that 30% of the GDP to doing what annually? Hosting YOGs?

Right.
