This month end, I will be expecting a increase in my salary but
i wonder how can i negotiate a better
salary.
I thought
of asking my boss whether can they pay
me
higher since i need to provide support to users which
is
out of my job scope.
My company is a printing company and they hire me to take care
of
the printers and printers issues. Providing support to users is
handled
by another company but most of the time I'm the one helping
them.
I work alone and sometimes is really hard to manage so many task
including
those that are not under my job scope.
Being paid $1K+, I really feel underpay since i had to provide
support for users which is out of my scope.
I suggest that you don't ask heard on, but try to make them
aware of your request. Like pretend to search for another job etc.
If you're really worth their money, they would definitely catch the
hint and increase your pay. If not, then i guess a new job is the
way to go.
