Sounds familiar. Used to have a
lady project manager in my ex-ex company, will buy snacks for us,
play dai dee with us sometimes when we work late. Invite us over to
her condo for badminton or bbq. One day, she was asked to leave and
pack up within a day, and eventually left while we're still getting
over our shock. Eventually her place was taken over by an ang moh
guy that does nothing more than "hi and bye" to us everyday.
My ex company, got an ang moh female line producer that'll complain
anyone up the line, if you're a wee bit late for work. It doesn't
matter if you worked till 11pm last night, she doesn't care anymore
than morning attendance. Other ang moh's holding supervisory and
managerial positions, I look them no up as well. There is nothing I
can learn from them. Yes ang moh can socialize very well, ready
punchlines for all occasions, but when it comes to work, its
nothing about skin color. They can be equally bad, sloppy,
unresponsive, unproductive as well.
