mhcampboy SG Lets say for example, you received few missed calls from your prospective employer after sending out your resume and due to some reasons, you did not notice the calls, should you call them back?
zaxis SG No. use miss call as form of filtering system if the new company call again, better chance. call back only, inform them you are having another company on line, say sorry for not picking up the call????????
dork3d SG You should call back... What happens if the prospective employer wants to give you a good offer but you didn't call back?
mhcampboy SG And what happens if the company is a big organization and the number displayed on the phone is their main number? And not from the respectives department... meaning all number called out from their various depts will be shown as their main number.
dork3d SG Then you can politely ask if anyone from the company called you earlier, maybe suggesting that can it be the HR department that might have called you?
zaxis SG ya loh ya loh kenna main line then lao tao then need to ask who call ha? HR or personal department ha? ren si bo?
alexkusu SG My potential employers called and leave a msg/job offer. I only call back to confirm it, or else I just ignore.
shinta SG hmm what time is good to make a follow up call ar? i emailed 1 prospective employer.. sayin i'm gg to call her today... but dunno what time to call leh =( i'm at work.. =X and we had our interview last monday, 8 jan @ 7pm
alexkusu SG Call after lunch..like after 2-3pm to be safe. Cos after lunch, they eaten edi, feel satisfied and generally would be better mood. If you called just before lunch of just before 5pm, could be a different story
