that's right. it is very important that everything u do in the
concrete jungle must be in black and white. for example if the
seniors wants u to do something, never ever agree to doing anything
just through the phone. make sure u ask them to send an e-mail
first before u do it.
why? cos there are always assholes in the office that whenever
things goes wrong, will suddenly act blur, deny everything and push
the fault to others. so if u have the e-mail as proof, at least u
are safe.
another example is returning or hand over stores/equipments etc to
another person. make sure the person aknowledge that he/she have
taken over the thing from u by sending an e-mail to all parties
involved. cos if u don't do that and when the thing got missing,
that asshole can just say no he didn't recieve it from u and in the
end, u got to pay for it.
best is return it face to face to the person, if he/she is not
around, never leave it on their desk and walk away. if it goes
missing, he/she can deny everything. best is have a witness with u
so that he can prove that the thing was handed over.
