MediaCorp Raintree Pictures "Ah Long Pte Ltd" to hit cinemas on Feb 7

SINGAPORE : The casts of MediaCorp Raintree Pictures latest film "Ah Long Pte Ltd" kicked off the first of a series of roadshows at the AMK (Ang Mo Kio) Hub on Saturday.

The comedy stars MediaCorp actress Fann Wong and comedian Mark Lee.

Fann plays a fearsome loan shark, or Ah Long, who wants to change her business model.

For a change from his uncouth ah beng persona, funnyman Mark Lee plays an effeminate dance teacher.

Director Jack Neo uses his latest movie to poke fun at the illegal moneylending business and the rivalry among triad gangs.

The movie hits cinemas islandwide on February 7, which is the first day of the spring festival. CNA /ls
