Catknight SG One thing I don't understand why christian leaders so upset about golden compass but are silent about Lord of the rings Both are fantasy films...
ray243 SG Go and read the origin story of lord of the rings...the simiarlion( spelling mistake).. Eru is basically another version of god... For Narnia...it is even more pro-religion...'the last battle' basically tells us that Aslan is Jesus in another world and form. Golden compass on the other hand...is bascially insulting christians by saying the mageisterium( AKA the church) is evil.
Gordonator SG back to topic. peter jackson will not be directing this time. he'll be the producer. and no, frodo will not be in it. this story is about his uncle bilbo. and no, this is not lord of the rings.
