This first movie is just an introduction of the Transformers to
the audience. Steven Spielberg wanted this movie to be about a boy
and his car. I believe this first movie could have been much
better, but then it would go way beyond 2 and a half hours. We only
saw Decepticons fighting and not much talk from them, that's my
complain about the movie.
From what i read in Transformers forums, the 2nd movie may include
Soundwave (that blue cassette player with a face plate like
Optimus), Shockwave (the one-eyed face robot), Constructicons and
Dinobots. These are not confirmed, although they are trying to find
a way to include them. What is confirmed is that the main actors
Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox had signed up for the sequels.
