Why there is high rate of divorce in Singapore? Don't you
know the family court is buzzily with live every day? What is
the cause of the high rate of divorce?
(1) Women charter. nowsdays women are working, why need
women charter. whether it is assets, childs, etc it is biased for
women... a fail marriage is still a profitable investment
for ladies. so no wonder many women taking advantage of this,
marry only mah.. even fail, i will still win $$... man must take
care of women.. buy this and buy that for her.. after that women
can flirt around.. but if man flirt around, u lose
big, ... but usually nowsdays man are more dumb than
ever.... wake up guys....lololol.. at the end of day, women win
childs and assets , etc ...
(2) Lack of community efforts to mend marriage. This is
because the efforts are not pro-active... they wait for both
parties to want to try to mend marriage...
(3) Lack of understanding what the marriage commitment and vow
is ? They have no sense what is responsibility to the
children for a broken family.
Easy solution is this
a) All joint-assets confiscated by government, if you can't
settle amicably, regardless whether hdb, condo or private
home..
b) Both parties will not be entitled to kids. The kids
will be taken by child centre, until they obtain a Dip in
polytechnic at least. Both will pay maintenance to the child
centre. It is child right to follow whichever parent
after he/she grows up or not to follow.
c) no need for grounds of divorce... just need
the severity for breaching the marriage vow. if it is
adultery, then charge as a crime separtely. if it is
violent behaviour, then charge as a crime separtly.
