There was a documentary last year which made waves both critically and at the box office. It was a celebration of nature, of life, danger, and death as seen through the eyes of Emperor Penguins in the Antarctica. If you had seen that documentary, then the first 10 minutes of Happy Feet will be familiar territory, as it probably summarized a whole lot of the mating game, into the introductory act.

thgt it was a bad movie.. more for kids la. enjoyed the musical only

mystiv SG

for me, the opening was at too slow a pace, and the ending was too rushed, making it seem like a fairy tale..

animation wise, it gets bored after awhile, seeing mumble (when i saw the movie, i thought it was mambo Laughing ) dance the same thing over and over again..

CoolMyth SG

Saw the movie liao. Laughing

Not bad lah. I went on internet to get a better understanding of the story and then I realised there were so many pro-christianity groups, extremists etc protesting on some of the themes in the movie, like homosexuality, promiscuity, religion etc.

Maybe it was a deliberate dig, maybe they took it too seriously. Laughing
