xfool SG we already got R21,M18 and NC16 ratings but how come we dun get to see all the films that we want? Surely they know we can get pirated copies of d/l from internet if we really want to see so why ban them? Its kinda dumb that they ban Kill bill vol 1 but not vol 2 ,if some scenes are really undesirable they can always cut them(of course not too much). Maybe we need a new rating for more mature folks like 25+
missqi SG because they have to stick their nose into everything and even adults; are never mature enough for them.
dork3d SG Kill Bill Vol 1 got banned meh? Thought they screened the edited less violent version here in Singapore... And me remembered that when Singapore was screening Charlie's Angels 2, the cinema operators needed to cut and edit the scene with the belly dancing on MDA's advice on the second day of the screening...
MohamedF SG Was it really banned??? I thought it was just sold out in Singapore... Anyway, Kill Bill 1 is before this NC16, M18 and R21 huha right... So, I think MDA just don't want to look back at old shows and Unbanned them...
FireIce SG even R21 oso is after-censor......... some can't even enter our shores..... singapore is just too strict lah.....
dork3d SG That's one movie starring Scarlett Johansson about racism alongside with full frontal nude scenes of Scarlett that was not shown in Singapore... It was banned due to racism issue... But managed to get the DVD from US, Scarlett's body is damn power!
Meilin86 SG Our media is ranked 146th in the world. http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=217965
xfool SG other movies I can think of is land of the dead, the devil's reject, the hill have eyes and hostel. Strangely saw 1 & 2,the descent,Final Destination 3 and wolf creek are not banned. btw when did they implement the rating system?
ditzy SG Only after all the disgusting parts got chopped off. How many sex scenes with exposed breasts did you see in hostel when it was screened here?
